Richard Peterson commissioned this hat. Mr. Peterson lives in Kasaan, Alaska and is the President of the Organized Village of Kasaan and Vice President of Tlingit & Haida Central Council.

Food Gathering Dolls

The canoe has a raven design on one end (shown) and an eagle design on the other. Each of the porcelain dolls has its own handmade regalia. In the canoe, there is a basket full of blueberries. One of the dolls has a paddle in his left hand and a halibut hook in his right hand.
